Christian Schmid

Christian is a Partner in our Zurich office. He is a core member and an active contributor to our Global Financial Institutions and Insurance Practice Groups. Outside of Financial Services he is experienced in the fields of Information Technology, Health Care and Industrial Goods. Christian spent several years working in BCG's London, Chicago, Vienna and Eastern European offices.
With over 12 years of experience, Christian worked with leading Financial Services and Health Care players on a broad range of topics, such as strategic repositioning, corporate finance, M&A, post-merger integration, corporate restructuring, shared services, IT and sales force effectiveness.
Prior to joining BCG, Christian worked at IBM Switzerland as a key account manager for several industrial goods corporations.
Christian holds a Masters degree in Land Surveying from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich).
