Bachelor graduates bring important qualities to BCG, including ambition, a solid theoretical base, a strong desire to make a difference, and the ability to think critically—an attribute that has little to do with age or experience. Indeed, in the words of BCG’s founder, Bruce Henderson, “Getting older may mean becoming smarter in the ways of the world, but it adds nothing to analytical ability, conceptual ability, intelligence, imagination, or energy.”
Graduates with a Bachelor's degree bring another key dimension: a diversity of perspectives and backgrounds, which can prove invaluable. Accordingly, we don’t confine our recruiting efforts to undergraduates who have focused their education on traditional areas such as economics, management, and business. We also seek graduates with degrees in law, languages, social and natural sciences, and other disciplines.
