Social Entrepreneur
This year's Contest by the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship
The Schwab Foundation identifies leading Social Entrepreneurs - dynamic individuals who launch enterprises targeting social change rather than profits - provides them with a platform, and raises public awareness of their efforts. In Switzerland, 33 applications have been submitted for the award “Swiss Social Entrepreneur 2009” - all of them unique and impressive. By the end of July, this year's semifinalists will be appointed. The winner of the award will finally be elected by a jury out of approx. 5 finalists on October 23rd.

Das soziale Engagement von BCG Schweiz umfasst unter anderem die "Schwab Social Entrepreneur"-Initiative sowie die Vorauswahl und Wahl des „Social Entrepreneur“ des Jahres, die Initiative „Business at School“ sowie die Unterstützung des „International World Food Programme“ der Vereinten Nationen.
