  • As a result of the crisis, the hallmarks of insurance—security and stability—are top of mind for many consumers. But translating these priorities into new demand and higher rates of retention requires a deep understanding of consumer behavior. To this end, BCG recently conducted a study of consumer perceptions about the insurance industry and its major brands. The study was based on a survey of more than 1,000 people in four markets: France, Germany, Japan, and the United States.
